"Thank you so much Kayleigh! You absolutely made me feel so comfortable and everyone loved you!"

Lois and Matt's wedding was an absolutely beautiful affair that I felt very priviledged to be a part of. Set in London's beautiful Fulham palace, I was lucky enough to attend the entire day and I couldn't have felt more at home. Lois and Matt are both musicians, so naturally it was a musical affair with a wonderful jazz band for the evening and an amazing brass band that filled the entire church, it really was a wedding to be remembered. Lois went for a gold smokey eye and half lashes, that really made her eyes the focus. Her skin was glowy, fresh and highlighted. Into the evening, we went a bit smokier and added a more glossy lip!

"Thank you so much for being part of the day! I was so happy with the look you gave me!"

And here we have Lena. I met Lena through my lovely friends over at Revelry Events, who passed me on as a recommendation. I spent 3 wonderful days with Lena, who was visiting from New Zealand and getting married in gorgeous Greenwich. On the Monday we did the trial, on the Wednesday I got her and her gals ready for their hen party (a quintessentially British, London bus tour complete with afternoon tea) and finally, on Friday it was time to get married. My most favourite moment with Lena was when I showed her the finished result and she started to cry and hugged me. I'll never forget that touching moment that forever reminds me why I do this as my job! Lena went for soft pink tones, with her statement black kohl liner hugging the eyes.

"Thank you KayleighKMUA for coming to my rescue and giving me the most perfect bridal look."

Meeting Melani came under slightly different circumstances. I was sitting on my sofa one Sunday morning, browsing facebook, when I get tagged in a crisis for help from photographer Nick Ray. He said one of his brides had been left stranded after their makeup artist didn't turn up! I enquired where the wedding was - as London is a big place after all! I had the shock of my life to discover it was the building NEXT DOOR! I hightailed it over there and met the gorgeous Melani, who didn't need much help at all as she is just stunning. We went for flawless glowy skin, soft but statement eyes and a soft pink lip from her own collection. I felt honored to be included in her big day and try and ease the stress!

"I've been meaning to write to you to say thanks so much for doing my makeup. You created just the look i wanted - so happy with it & my sister was pleased too.

Also we all had a really fun time in the morning getting ready and you created a really nice relaxing atmosphere!"

Here we have Isobel's fairytale wedding. As I drove upto Charlton Park near Canterbury in Kent, I was greeted by baby lambs, ponys and horses and the most equistite grounds, it really was stunning and such a lifetime away from London. The weather was perfect and I can only describe it as the most perfect garden party wedding. As I got Isobel and her bridesmaids ready, we played Lionel Ritchie and I can hand on heart say, it was the most relaxing pre-wedding morning I have ever had the pleasure of taking part in. Isobel went for a very classic almost vintage bridal look, with a soft focus on the skin, subtle gold eyes and a lovely peachy toned lip. Perfect for the summers day ahead.

"Thank you so much!!! On the plane now to Jamaica, you are amazing, thank you for everything. I want to meet you again for more makeovers on my return! Thank you!!"

My meeting with Savanha was not typical as far as bridal bookings go, but it definitely was one of the most fun! She approached me with her nuptials only a week away, so we did the trial with 2 days to spare and it was all hands on deck. Savanha was one of the most fun, inviting brides. The entire morning was full of laughter, love and tales of her and her best friends university adventures. I felt truly welcomed into her circle. Savanha went for a soft burgundy and gold smokey eye, with highlighted and contoured to perfection skin.

"The makeup was flawless, I loved it, all thanks to you. I had the best day ever."

I was recommended to Russet by my good friend Rachel - who I work with regularly in the industry. It is always an honour to be recommended by a fellow makeup artist and being a part of Russets wedding day was truly special. We went for a couple of different looks but ultimately Russet threw caution to the wind and made my makeup dreams come true by requesting a truly vintage inspired look. With red lips, delicate flicks and fluffy lashes, her face was a dream to work on. I especially loved that her wedding morning was accompanied by her young daughter watching Beauty and the Beast as I flicked my makeup brush - what more could I ask for. Gorgeous wedding photography done by Randolph Wilcox.

"I wanted to thank you again for the absolutely beautiful makeup which you did for us on my wedding - it made us all feel totally fabulous"

My morning with Anusha was simply wonderful. I can honestly hand on heart say I have never been made to feel more welcomed into a home and accepted. I did Anusha's makeup, along with her sister and mother. The morning was filled with so much love and happiness all around, and it was so wonderfully relaxing, just how a wedding morning should be! Anusha wanted to look very natural, as she doesn't wear much makeup, but still wanted to feel glamorous. Her skin was just perfect, so we just did some light concealing, with gorgeous golds on the eyes that complimented her skin tone. I met her a few months later to do a group lesson with her and her sister and mother - to show them how to recreate the looks on their own! Photography by Stephen Bunn.

Clare was hands down, one of my sweetest brides. From the bridal trial, we really hit it off and on the day, I loved getting to know her family and her bride squad and seeing how close everyone was. I feel like you can really see the close connection everyone had from their photos, it really was bridal part goals! Clare went for a very natural look, complimenting her gorgeous features. Her skin was fresh but full coverage and a light champagne dusted the eyes. This was hands down one of my most emotional wedding mornings, as I loved watching her get ready and transform into a a bride!

When you get asked to do makeup for a bride who wants a bold smokey eye and is wearing a green dress - you HAVE to say yes! Eliana was one of the most bold and stunning looks I've been asked to create, opting for a mushroom taupe smokey eye to flatter her eye colour and THAT dress worthy of walking the oscars red carpet. Their stunning wedding took place in Elephant and Castle, London and was my first introduction to a Jewish wedding - a wonderfully tight knit family affair filled with traditions. Hair was done by my fabulous hair partner in crime Hair by Cassandra and photographed by Marianne Chua.
