When Esmeralda weds Phoebas, what other wedding would you expect that one full of freedom, nature and beauty. Their own mini festival of fools, set in the gorgeous countryside in Kent, with effortless Parisian influence, we invite you to enjoy the most bohemian wedding yet!
You mean the Feast of Fools? All right, all right! Pour the wine and cut the cheese.
"Gypsies don't do well inside stone walls"
And what's a festival without food?
The seventh Princess and what fun we had! I really wanted to create a relaxed, almost festival vibe because Esmeralda wouldn't have it any other way. Set in the glorious Longton Wood in Kent, I really think we succeeded in creating a setting that was warm, low key and loving.
There's lots of little nods to the story, with french (and Italian!) food, musical instruments, balloons and a wedding dress fitting for a gypsy princess, we were able to get really playful with the styling, focusing on love and warmth and freedom - just as Esmeralda would.
